Our Vision

 

Viva Italia! A Night in Italy will take our guests straight to the cobblestoned

streets of Italy where they will engage their senses and be whisked away for

an evening abroad, Wednesday March 18th, 2015. Guests will enjoy a

traditional, homemade, Italian dinner; be moved by live Italian music;

and participate in an Italian cultural experience.

 

Our team wants to bring the community together to celebrate a great cause and raise funds
for  Children’s Wish Foundation. We need you, the potential attendees to help us reach our
goal, along with Algonquin College’s goal to raise a  $1,000,000 to put towards the foundation
and help a child’s dream come true. The Event Management Program has currently raised
$750,000 from past events and we want to you to help us support this cause by attending our
event and help raise the remainder of the $1, 000,000 dollars.

 

We are hosting an Italian dinner event, where we will be creating an Italian Getaway experience at Napoli’s Cafe in Stittsville. We will take our guests away to the streets of Italy for the night with cultural artists and entertainment accompanied by fresh homemade Italian cuisine.  We have many different programming elements lined up for our guests, which will be posted once confirmed.

Menu Choices of the Night 

 

Tickets to Viva Italia! A Night in Italy includes a 3-course Italian homemade meal.

Here are the three choices for the main dishes:

 

1. Pasta Duo

A Combination of a homemade Lasagna (layers of fresh pasta, ricotta, Parmesan, Italian cheese, and sliced meat balls) and Cannelloni (in house pasta, braised milk fed veal, Bolognese sauce, Mozzarella) baked with meat sauce and cheese.

 

2. Chicken Marsala Served with Potatoes and Vegetables

Marsala wine demi glaze, field mushroom, market vegetables, pasta Bolognese.

 

3. Vegetarian Manicotti

In house pasta rolled with Ricotta cheese, spinach, tomato sauce, baked with cheese.
